I have recently got back from Portugal where I played in the European Seniors Tour qualifying school. On offer where 5 tour cards for the top 5 players in the tournament. If you get one of these cards you can play in every tournament on the Seniors Tour. The first tournament is in March in Dubai and the last is in Mauritius in December.
In difficult windy conditions and lighting fast greens I shot 76,73,66,74 to finish in 11th spot and to miss one of the cards by 3 shots. It gave me the feedback that I can still play to a decent standard and I will be going back to Portugal next year to have another go. I was lucky enough to play on the seniors tour in 2015 and had a great time and met some new and old friends and I feel as though I can compete on tour but need to improve my short game yet again. I will be working all year to improve my game and after nearly 40 years playing Professional golf I still feel I can learn and improve everyday.
I will be teaching at TFG throughout the year as well as going away with students on some of my exclusive golf holidays and I look forward to seeing old and new faces, I have new drills and techniques to help improve my own game so come and join me so I can pass on all my knowledge and experience to you all.
